our top story at 4:30...a 7-year-old boy is in the hospital this morning... recovering from being hit by a car in racine.police tell us the boy was riding his bike yesterday when he crossed into . traffic.the driver- a 41- year-old man- told officers there wasn't enough time to stop... to avoid hitting him. the boy was flown to children's hospital with what police say are serious injuries.officers don't believe the driver was impaired. and he is cooperating with investigators. looking ahead--- germantown... is scheduled to be sentenced today in washington county court."adam neuhaus" has ?pleaded guilty.? surveillance video from august 20-15.... shows 50-year-old "keith habenicht"... riding his bicylce the night he was hit.neuhaus wasn't arrested until this past ?may.?court documents state.... he was ?drinking at a bar? before the crash. now to a developing story...we still don't know the identity of the person found in a burning truck in wheatland

fire in a parking lot around eight friday morning. passers-by reportedly tried to get the person out of the truck. kenosha county investigators say they are investigating this incident as suspicious. 3 milwaukee police are trying to find the person who ?took a car? with ?twin babies? inside! inside!they found the car... and the infants are fine--- but what a scary situation for the mom.she stopped at a home near 49-th and concordia yesterday... and ?left the car on? with the twins inside.when she came back out just a short time later--- the car and thankfully--- someone found the car at 40-th and north about an hour later.the babies were inside. inside.if you know anything about this case--- call milwaukee police at 414-935-74-05. 3 check out the man police in ?caledonia? are looking for this morning.he's accused of robbing a bank.the robbery happened just before noon on saturday... at the "u-s bank" near kraut and northwestern. police say... the man went into the bank and handed the

left. if you recognize this man... call caledonia police. two people who live above a tavern in kenosha had to leave and stay somewhere else... after a van slammed into the business.. cutting power to the building. building.this is the damage.it happened around 1:30 yesterday afternoon... at the "rendezvous tiki lounge."it's located at 17th avenue and 52nd street. the van ran through a fence.. drove through the tavern's beer garden.. and hit the side of the building. the bar was closed at the time. 3 ed "i was just sleeping under the window and all of a sudden this big boom/crash it sounded like the whole building was going to fall down on us when that car hit the wall it just scared us." us." the driver and the passenger of the van refused medical attention. it's not clear if the driver will face any charges. 3 some families got a chance this weekend... to go ?behind the scenes? at the milwaukee police department.the district two headquarters... held an open house... and ?hundreds? of people turned out. out.they got to go on a tour... learn about some

should ridesharing drivers be held to the same standards as taxi drivers? that's the question in a court in chicago right now. it's been an issue here in milwaukee too.a coalition of taxi drivers sued milwaukee to have its cap on taxi permits declared unconstitutional back in 2011.the drivers won.. but the taxi industry also filed a lawsuit.. arguing that allowing more competition is unconstitutional. the taxi industry says it has lost 30 to 40 percent of revenue to the ridesharing apps... but is also held to higher licensing standards and costly fees. the

there's ?one more? public meeting in waukesha tonight... to discuss the possibility of a new city hall. city leaders are considering an 18 (m) million dollar "multi-purpose building"--- a combination of city hall... the city hall annex... and the water utility. they're floating ?three? possible locations.tonight's meeting is the ?final? of four public meetings on the topic. it starts at six o'clock... in the community room at "citizens bank of mukwonago" on corporate drive in waukesha. 3 more than 50 volunteers and future milwauk homeowners.. will come together today to frame three homes in the washington park ne. neighborhood.the homes will be built next to one another... on the same block where eight ?other? habitat families live. "job global" is sponsoring two of the three homes. they're the company's 16th and 17th homes.. built in partnership with milwaukee habitat for humanity.since 2011.. job global has contributed more than one-point-15 million dollars... to habitat. the group plans to start the effort at 9 this morning. there's a new company in

three men have discovered a 119-year-old shipwreck at the bottom of ?lake superior.?one of the guys is from wisconsin. the other two are from minnesot. minnesota.the 187-foot wrecked ship... is from the "antelope" ship--- the men found it earlier this month using sonar. the ship sank near the ?apostle islands? in october the city of ashland in ?northwest? wisconsin.no one died in the wreck--- and even now--- the ship is very much intact.the men plan to share the location of the wreck with the state of wisconsin... in hopes it will eventually be declared a "historic site." toss to weather... 3 ((???1:15 seconds??))
